I started coaching because I no longer had any job satisfaction and I suppose I needed some direction. I was lacking in confidence in my role at work when I first started coaching. I was struggling to find structure in my role and have clear goals for my future. This made me feel quite overwhelmed. Hanane is super approachable. I have always felt like I can talk to her about what is going on and this has helped us to work on the things I really needed her help with. I could tell from our first session that Hanane would be confidential and put my best interests first. Firstly, Hanane has been really good at helping me realise my goals and we’ve worked together to put a plan in to reach these. During each session, we have gone over what is currently been going on and we’ve unpicked practical things I could implement to make changes/improvements. I started coaching with Hanane as I was in threat of being made redundant from my current role and was very unsure of which direction to take my career. I wanted to have a strong up to date CV, an idea of the area I wanted to work in and most of all the confidence to apply for positions. Hanane sent me a link to fill out that showed my strengths and asked me to write out what my previous roles had what they entailed and what I had enjoyed and disliked about them. Completing this reminded me how much I had achieved and how much I had progressed. Well what can I say!! I was feeling really low and struggling with how to deal with some difficult situations and negative influences. Hanane really pumped confidence back into me by making me realise my strengths and what I was good at. She puts things into perspective and helped me build my resilience, on occasion just chatting things through helped so much to seeing other ways to deal with issues and control the controllable. After our sessions I feel great, I know what my strengths are, have coping mechanisms when things get tough and also learnt to put number 1 first. Be loyal to yourself first before anyone else, do what's right for you and always ensure you are happy!
